Software that gives advisors and clients one view of the household
One view of a client household comes from different layers. Orion is an all-in-one advisor platform with a white-labeled portal and published tier prices. Addepar and Black Diamond aggregate and report on portfolio data and host client portals. Tamarac organizes its reporting portal around households. BridgeFT is an API for custodial data. Worthune is the household planning record your own product owns, with projections, drift alerts, and embeds under your brand. Most firms need a data layer and may add a planning layer.

Method
How we compared these
A list without a method is an opinion wearing a table’s clothes. These are the axes, including the one we are biased toward.
Which layer it is
Aggregation, portfolio accounting and reporting, an all-in-one practice platform, and a planning record are different jobs that all get called one view of the household. Decide which job you are buying before comparing features.
Where the data comes from
Some platforms aggregate custodial and held-away accounts themselves; others expect you to bring the data. That decides how much else you need to buy.
Whose interface the client sees
A vendor-hosted portal with your branding, or embeds and an API inside your own product. Both are legitimate; they cost differently in time and control.
How the API is reached
A public reference with a self-serve sandbox, or credentials issued to existing clients and partners. The route decides whether engineering can evaluate before procurement.

Where this list is weakest
- This list is published by one of the six. Every fact is sourced and dated on the matching comparison page; the ordering and the labels are our judgment.
- Worthune does not aggregate accounts, report performance, trade, or rebalance. A firm that needs those needs one of the other platforms, with or without us.
- Unified Managed Household (UMH) programs, which manage and rebalance across a household's accounts, are a different product and are not covered here.
Questions
Common questions
- What software gives advisors one view of a client household?
- Portfolio and reporting platforms such as Addepar, Black Diamond, and Tamarac show what a household owns and how it performed; Orion adds CRM, trading, and billing in one platform. Worthune keeps the household's planning record — projections, strategies, and drift alerts — inside your own product.
- Which of these publish their pricing?
- Orion publishes annual starting prices for its tiers on its client portal page, and Worthune publishes its plans. Addepar, Black Diamond, and BridgeFT route prospects to a demo, and Envestnet's Tamarac pages could not be read on the date we checked.
- Is unified household management the same as a Unified Managed Household?
- No. A Unified Managed Household is an investment program that manages and rebalances across a household's accounts. Unified household management, as Worthune uses the phrase, is the household's planning record: current, projected, and monitored for drift.
- Can AI assistants read household data from these platforms?
- Increasingly, yes. Addepar and Black Diamond publish MCP servers, Orion announced a Claude connector, and Worthune's MCP server exposes household tools with any key, the free sandbox key included. Check what each one can change, not just read.
